On Monday, I introduced legislation (H.R. 2745) to terminate the $700 Billion TARP financial bailout program on December 31 of this year. I fear that instead of being used to promote financial stability and to protect taxpayers, TARP is being used to promote a social and economic agenda that picks winners and losers.
