He's the man, as far as I'm concerned. RIP Ron. This country misses men cut of the same cloth as you were.
I fear our children have already been committed to "A thousand years of darkness."

What a great speech. Music or no, it's dramatic. And timely. Thanks for posting.
Reagan won a great President and always stayed on message! Ron Paul is a nut with an occasional good idea!

C'mon Jeb, RP is a licensed Md, several term elected congressman, what is nutty? I hear this thrown out but never hear a response to what is considered nutty. The MSM says it, so it must be so?

I'm siding with Jeb on this one, RP appears nutty to me too, but then I am probably biased, since we (RP & Me) do not see eye to eye on certain issues.
RP has a few true conservative ideas and then he calls the war unjust while troops are in the field! Think what you want about the war, but those that have fought, are fighting or lost family in the battle know that to the grunt it's not politics it's staying alive, keeping your buddy above ground and winning! When the people that you fight for turn on you while in the field it is dangerous as hell to the mission and the morale! When you're a congressman it is even worst! But, specifically, his statement during the debates about little green men kinda sorta came off as kooky!:rofl
PS Just a friendly reminder...Howard Dean is an MD too!:D

I missed the little green men comment, I need to look it up and see what was said.
He was against sending troops before we ever went to Iraq. He's also for bring home our troops in Germany, Philipines, Japan, Korea.... I'm not opposed.
He takes Libertatian to the extreme! Legalize drugs etc. and as a career cop and after retiring I ran a drug rehab and I hope we never put drugs in the local Thom Thumb! Your right he was against doing anything other than building a wall after 911. He would not have gone to war against Hitler either! I agree with much of the libertarian philosophy but we can't let Islamofacist take over the world anymore than we could let the communist have the western hemisphere! Sometimes you have to kill to be free!:gun:

I've got yer back gtrman. I need to look up what he said about the war before I open mouth and insert foot, but from what I've read here I agree with him. I disagreed with the war, having been there I still largely disagree with the war, so; I can't say that I don't understand RP's position....now that's not to say we shouldn't deploy bombers on a massive scale...
I personally think we should drop some heavy shit on Iran, North Korea and Syria and parts of Pakistan. But my point about the war is simple when men are in harms way it is obvious the dialog has stopped...so support the troops and let them win! I am tired of weak ass politicians that forgot that peace is only obtained after somebody gets their arse kicked! I guess I am from a different era!

I did a dogpile and youtube search and came up emptyhanded on the little green men comment. I did however find him redicting a lot of what's happening now back in September (before the election)... and what should be happening.

But I do think the "microwave" guns of Alex Jones is goofy.
It was during one of the debate during the primary when a question about life on other planets was thrown in there! But, my question to a smart and deliberate man is why waste your vote on someone that will never win? Now he is about as excitable as the old fart McCain!

What kind of moron reporter would ask a question like that? Never mind, they asked Clinton about underwear, moot point.
I do not see it as throwing away a vote. I see it as adding pebbles to a pond to raise the water level. Consistency, perseverence, stuborness.... whatever you like to call it. He can't get elected if no one votes for him, but slowly through time we can reverse the course the libs have put us on. Tea parties are great, but the flash up and disappear. We need a steady, stong force the continually pushes in the right direction.

No results found for Presedience:
Did you mean Presidence (in dictionary) or Precedence (in reference)?

To: John Hinckley
From: Mrs. Nancy Reagan
My family and I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how pleased we are with the great strides you are making in your recovery. In our fine country's spirit of understanding and forgiveness, we want you to know there is a nonpartisan consensus of compassion and forgiveness throughout.
The Reagan family and I want you to know that no grudge is borne against you for shooting President Reagan. We, above all, are aware of how the mental stress and pain could have driven you to such an act of
desperation. We are confident that you will soon make a complete recovery and return to your family to join the world again as a healthy and productive young man.
Best wishes,
Nancy Reagan & Family
P.S. While you have been incarcerated, Barrack Obama has been banging Jodie Foster like a screen door in a tornado. You might want to look into that.

I'll tell you, I was too young to truly appreciate how great a president he was. Since his passing, the White House has been nothing more than a STAGE. When the people Voted out Bush Senior, I fully realized what the nation's Lemming Count TRULY was.
The first Bush was a Populist that blew it when we read his lips and they said new taxes! The moderate side of the Bush family is what plagues the party because they don't like us social conservatives...Barbara Bush was Pro-Chioce! Reagan was a great Leader and meant what he said! He pushed his tax cuts through when the top rate was 70% and the revenue was about 500,000,000,000 per year and the GDP went through the roof while top marginal rate went to 28% and the revenue almost doubled the first year to 900 billion!

I also was too young to really remember Reagan, but at this rate I would elect Uncle Charley Manson in place of this Bozo. I also agree that I would gleefully vote for anyone here, other than G and TT, as any one of us would be better than the commie sleeper agents that we have unwittingly handed our country over too. GTRman, that is exactly why I would vote for Paul even if I thought he wouldn't win. I suspect that he lost a lot of votes through just that type of thinking and believe that he could be a serious contender should the country at large lose the notion that a third party candidate cannot win...in fact I think most of this country secretly wants to vote for someone other than the drivel that we are given, but most people seem to think that they are alone for whatever reason...this is precisely why Obama's "change" slogan was so damning to his opposition; we really, really do want change and his campaign managers knew this and also knew that they could subvert a nation that really wanted a change back to the foundation into electing a fool who's only real change comes from a turn too the worse.

I might add that one of the reasons so many feel like they are alone is due to the mainstream media. Even if a person knows they are full of it, the constant banter "unelectable loon, unelectable loon, unelectable loon" really does have a subtle brainwashing effect on all of us whether we realize it or not.

I joined the Army because of Pres. Reagan. He had a way of making you want to be part of something greater than yourself. My first national election was Reagan's second term.
I was at the convention in New Orleans when Bush said "read my lips, no new taxes". It was a proud moment... only to be dashed by abandoning the foundation Regan had put into place.

Libertarians will never be taken seriously if they continue to associate with conspiracy theorists.
I also miss Reagan, America was strong and proud in those days, he's won battles through superior firepower AND diplomacy...plus he shut Khadafi the hell up for many years.
Motive, I could not have said it better! He dropped a big one on ole Momar!!
