Where are all the Libs?

I've perused several of the threads here, and find it hard to understand why there are only a few from the left side of the aisle on this site.

When I'm over at the motorcycle forum there seems to be no shortage of those who wish to espouse that viewpoint(but yet, don't want to be political ;) ), but for whatever reason, they haven't found their way here.

I see much more of the conservative and libertarian views, here, than anything else. Anyone want to hazard a guess why it is this way?

A personal realization of just how many espoused conservative members there are here has me taken aback by how little has been posted by them since the november elections.
One would think that they have so much new material to work with.

As for other 1130 forum members that profess liberal leanings I too am sad that more do not participate, but to be honest of late there have been very few threads posted on which to comment.

I consider myself to be more libertarian than anything else, so of course that makes me a devil or angel to either conservatives or liberals, depending on the topic.
What I will say is that the conservatives within the Republican party got what they deserved in the last election as I believe that they strayed far afield from fiscal conservatism.
Hopefully, more will come to the site to enliven it a bit. We could use good and honest discourse.

I've noticed there are a few left-leaning members who pipe up from time to time, and I have to respect them for backing their opinions in a reasonable discussion. As site membership continues to grow, I believe more liberals will feel comfortable participating.
