More economic than political, but still a bad sign of the times. This might have been posted here though I've been out on the bike for a week and didn't know about it. Anyway Harley Davidson has axed Buell and it sucks. Are there any companies left that aren't getting canned?

They've been analyzing this over on the other site. Appears to be economic -- masking HD's other problems. At least people have gotten some good deals on new Buells, but will destroy resale for existing owners. Too bad, Buell was everything mainstream HD is not -- innovative and fun (Vrods excluded of course:))

Hey my Uly is signed by Eric himself. I'll be constructing a time capsule for collector value.

You got one of the best bikes that Buell ever made. Now maybe I can afford one to add to my stable.:D

Yes it is certainly a keeper. I put a 1000 miles on the orange bomber last week all over Texas and Oklahoma. I also got to ride my buddy's chopper that he built out of spare parts and craigslist giveaways. With Buell out of the picture I think my next bike is going to be homebrewed. Always was pissed at HD for getting treated like shit simply because I was a Buell/V-Rod owner.

That's really too bad. I really like the Buell bikes a lot. But they're going away. :( Guess it happens sometimes in business - good things go bye bye. Hopefully the parts availability and warranties will indeed last out, as reported. If I could, I'd buy a new Buell right now, just for the antique factor.

I went yesterday to trade my 07 X in on a 2010 Buell.There wasn't enough cash out value in my V-Rod,so I don't have a Buell.
Price on the sticker was $4,999.
