I cruise liberal blogs every once and a while to see what the other side thinks and keep coming across slews of liberals who constantly spout off about the evil nature of Jews. Thought it was just a few wack-jobs, but over the last several months I've found it to be fairly prominent within a political ideology that fancies itself as far more tolerant than most of our own beliefs. What's the deal? I thought these notions largely went bye, bye after Adolf Hitler's criminal atrocities. Possible reasons for this:

a) They still cling to the notion that Jews are greedy financially and are somehow responsible for our financial mess. Easier than blaming their own liberal policies I guess.
b) They blame the Jews for our issues with the middle east, forgetting that the Crusades might be to blame...but then they don't think we're a Christian nation.
c) They think palestinians are wholly victims of Israeli violence and did nothing to provoke them. This one makes no sense as inbound Hammas rockets used to be a mainstay of the daily news.
d) They think that muslims only attack us because we support Israel(great satan/little satan). This one makes the most sense although it means they think America should stop preventing potential holocausts and forget about WWII.
e) They're planning on Ahmadinejad T-Shirts after the Che ones go out of style. This one is kind of funny, but I really could see them doing this at some point so it loses a lot of its comedic value.

Seriously guys any thoughts on this one because I am baffled? I don't understand how they can call us racist because we disagree with a President's policies who happens to be black even though we're not all white. I can sort of see how they think we are anti-homosexual, but even then I don't see how they can make a leap that we want to kill all of them. These nuts are always going on about how Israel and the Jews need to be destroyed and everyone else on their boards simply skim over that part and agree with their other comments...one of them is a board sponsored by an MSM network for crying out loud.

I have plenty of thoughts on this right$special and they mostly stem from an end of days prophesy and perspective.

What we've been seeing since the most recent founding of Israel in 1948 is a continuing manifestation of a conflict that's been going on for thousands of years. The ignorance you see on the blogs seems to have no concept of this and further more when discussing the topic, they put God in Al Gore's lock box.
They refuse to comprehend this issue is not only about God's will for the Jewish people, but for the peoples of the world as well. Spiritually they are blinded. In end times prophesy the Lord tells us how the entire world will turn against Israel. We are beginning to see that manifestation in our time. I guess in a nutshell, spiritually blinded, hate filled individuals who have allowed their souls to be compromised by the enemy, have not the ability to either rationalize or see the light. What we're witnessing is indeed ugly and will continue to spread, but must come to pass to bring in the reign of the Lord as Armageddon quickly approaches. Lastly, as the holocaust was allowed to happen and by so brought in the prophesied re founding of Israel so too may have Obama been allowed to prevail as when evil orchestrates events, the Light of the Lord emerges and the darkness is forever extinguished.

Well that's a good question and I don't really have a great answer. But here's one possible fork - that today's liberals are grounded in emotion and have no use for rationale. When they oppose American strength, as many liberals do (although they won't say it in those words), they happen to find themselves alongside Islamists, who are widely known to hate Jews. When they resent Christianity, as many liberals do, they find again the same bedfellows lying next to them. Eventually such influences leave an impression. And with emotion as their guide, anything is justifiable in the minds of liberals. Nothing must be explained - you should just understand. There is no way for principled people to make any sense of it whatsoever.
