Have been shooting some video with my camera and converting it in linux and it works perfect for me but others with basic codecs and windows or macs have trouble so I tried converting a .mts to mpeg4 and then uploaded and converted to flash on youtube.

BTW, is that Dickie's 500 as in Dickie's BBQ? We just financed one of the first Dickies in Ohio and it is great. Also, like the mural of Ronald Reagan with Dickie which hangs proudly on the wall in this restaurant

Nice job with the video under Linux. My experience has been, no matter the format or codec used, once YouTube accepts it you're golden since everyone can see the Flash.
That looks like a comfortable spot to watch the race from.

It's Dickies the uniform company. But we have Dickie's BBQ all around here. My understanding is Plano was the home of the first one and we have about 10 here in town already and they have mini stores all over the state.

Yes it was a nice suite, good food and my favorite kind, free! I could have gone and sat in the same seat today but waiting on Danno and Vrodrjs to show up and were going out to dinner tonight and then on to the track for Nascar Sunday. Should see KCvrod at the track, I know Jack's in town and I just missed him at the track Friday.
Well I have some more video to work on now. Danno and Vrodrjs (Bob) both spent the weekend here and we did the races Friday night and Sunday. Jack (KCvrod) also hooked us up with infield passes for the zztop concert that took place Sunday afternoon before the race. Have to get the boys packed and back on the road today and then start to catch up on the mess here. :)

Yes, ZZ Topp! Just saw Barry Gibbons of ZZ play a musician on one of the network crime shows. Pretty cool guy, and great musician.

Sorry I thought they were making the mp4 available. Here is the link to the page with the video and it allows a semi higher quality version using the interface on youtube.

You were right up front -- good deal. Looks like a fun time. I haven't been to Nascar race since Talledega's opening season (1972?), but maybe time to do it again.

Better seats then I've ever had at a concert.
Actually it was standing room with tickets from American Racing but still as close as I had ever been at a concert of any size.

LOL, MyCar you need to check out that "old" Southern-Fried Rock. Many of those bands are "Right" on the issues, too -- Lynrd Skynard is touring with Hannity next year and Charlie Daniels, well how can you beat, "It's a flag, not a rag." Just stay away from REM, they are Libs (though I do like some of its music).

I get a "server not properly configured" on my iPod thru the hospital free wifi. I'm here for a pacemaker tune up. No cause for concern.
Glad your doing well Roy. Try it from your pc and let me know. The hospital may also block youtube due to bandwidth.

PC works fine. iPod works great here at work, so it might have been a bandwidth issue like you said.
