Tomorrow I will have a surgical procedure to correct 2 iguinial Hernias that are just above my crotch area and have grown fairly painful and large! As some of you know I am a hard core ex Jarhead that has mastered Shotokan Karate and have trained in Combatodo which is my system of basic survival/Killing martial arts. I developed with several Sgt Majors of the MC that were recon rangers! I have taken this system to fine science and it is functional for defense against weapons and hand to hand! I also incorperated power training with heavy weightlifting to supply the overwhelming power needed to perform precision deadly techniques! The end result has been a very adatable system that can be taught to those with some basic skills such as boxing, grappling, Aikido, or Hapkido or even Judo! I have spent 39 years pushing my skill to the max for the purpose of developing a system that would help a person survive the deadly scenario where cities and system break down and the tribulations begain.

I have had 8 major surgeries,(neck C-6 discetomy w/fusion, R shoulder x2, L shoulder x 1, R knee total removal of left latteral right medial meniscus, L knee Lateral menisectomy Total and one large piece of shrapnel scoped out of L medial. I also got shot with a small .22 cal round that bounced around a bit inside and required some serious repair. Last but not least I was stabbed by a criminal in the lowe spinal area resulting in a great deal of pain.

I told you all this because I may have lead a rough life and had a few procedures prior to this one, but I want you guys to pray for my safe and successful return to this forum! Put me on the prayer list at your church or just say one for me! Because of the bone grafts they chizeled out of my leftside hip may prevent the type of surgery she wants to perform. She is going to slit my skin away from my muscle and place the mesh between the muscle instead placing the mesh inside the abdominal wall. 3 hours tops ....so pray for me and my family. Thanks Guys

Dear Lord,

We ask that You Protect Johnny with the Sword of the Spirit during this surgery for him tomorrow. Lord give Johnny's doctors, and staff the needed Knowledge, Wisdom, and Steady Hands that Your Will Be Done, and this surgery be Complete and Successful.
Father Comfort Johnny, See him through this experience with as little emotional and physical discomfort as possible. We ask You that Johnny's Recovery be Swift and be Fulfilled without any complications whatsoever Dear Lord, and that his Healing be Complete. Lord we also Pray that You be with Johnny's family, and friends during this time, that You would ease any concerns and worries they too may have.

Thank You Dear Lord.

In Your Glorious Son's Name of Jesus we Pray.

Amen

Of course prayers are sent. The mesh method supposedly makes it nearly impossible to repeat the injury in the affected area. Good luck.

I think the surgeon is using a newer technque where they slice the top layer of skin away from the muscle and place the mesh between the muscle and skin over the wholes in the affected area! It is alful close to the family jewels however!

Thanks for the prayers guys...I really appreciate them!

Everything went well with the surgery. It was a lot worse once they got in so they had to do an open full cut across my crotch and it do hurt!! Both hernias are repaired and since it was not laprascopic it will take a good deal longer for the recovery. My advise to anyone putting off surgery for an Iguinial Hernia, don't wait because it just makes things worse. I was stubborn and kept pushing the limits and it caused so much scar tissue that the easy fix was not possible. Hard heads like me have to learn the hard way! Not young anymore! Thanks for all the prayers!

Glad you got through it ok, Jeb. I was a little concerned when you weren't posting for a time (figured you'd be blasting G from your hospital bed).
