Wasn't Barak's address on March 18th great?
He threw his grandmother under the bus because as a white women she made racial statements about black men (who would have to have the least rate of criminal incarceration one may assume not to be wary of...) so she's a racist, but Reverend Jeremiah Wright isn't.
He just preaches hate against those white "Romans."
Barak Hussein Obama, racist by default: he won't condemn his mentor racist.

Possibly the most important and eloquent speech on racial politics in this country since MLK - and thats your reaction?
God help you.

Important and eloquent! lol!
Pure delivery cannot mask the hollowness of his words and it's only important as Barack Hussein Obama needs to sweep this away.
His was not so much a speech putting race away as it was a speech which made him the racial candidate, and on that note, he's a hypocrite.
God help us if this America-hating socialist liberal ever gets in the White House.

I only saw the excerpts (extended version) and commentary from the speech.
My opinion is that people are going to derive their opinion of his speech dependent upon how they feel about him and that no great change has come of it.
It does though appear that enough felt is was basic political double speak as to put off some who might have been swayed by him had the speech not been made.
Personally there are too many other unresolved issues related to his past and record that I can not in all good conscience support him.

He had hoped not to be the "Black Candidate". Thanks to his preacher, that wish is not granted.

For the democratic race he can almost get away with that.
Once it comes to the general election though, should he be the demo nominee, there's not much chance of there being a color blind eye.
Under different circumstances there are black men I would vote for, just not this one.
Personally my opinion is that should he become elected president, he'll not live out his term. Not a threat, just a speculation.
