Besides Max's lump of coal, anyone get anything good for Christmas?

I got mostly money into a fund for a future Leica M8 camera purchase, but also a Tourmaster heated vest and assorted tools and motorcycle stuff. No political books this year (still reading the ones from last year).

Well we had a few simple gifts for the day, clothing & 26" HDTV for the bedroom we actually bought that about 3 weeks ago, the old idiot box's audio board blew-out.

Santa did us good throughout the year as we needed (OK wanted) things , Marie's new MB, my new F150, 14x7 enclosed trailer. We will be chalking up those purchases for the next few years as our 2009 Christmas, until the payments are done on the car & truck.

Well, Christmas brought my nephew, his wife and 4 month old baby and my Mom for Chrstmas.

A new cell phone, flip style so I won't pocket call my daughter any more and some nice Duluth Trading Company Gauntlet Gloves.

Hell we didn't even get to celebrate it properly. A blizzard kept all the family from getting together. On second thought, that may be a gift in and of itself.

My wife and i put all of our resources towards our daughters Christmas. The wife has an interview on Monday so hopefully things are going to start turning around for us. Guess that would be our present.
