View Full Version : Are we inline for another big attack?
With Janet Napolitano running homeland security are we inline for a major attack? IMHO this woman is brain dead and couldn't secure a dirty diaper in a trash can.
Oh on the morning news a CIA agent called the name "Obama Binladen" I laughed so hard and the reporter had to correct them but I wonder if it might have been a watercooler joke that spilled over.

Nappy's primary qualification for the office was that she was the politically correct candidate due to her lesbianism, just as many of BHO's other administration officials came with bonafide PC credentials.
IMHO, the person running Homeland Security ought to have extremely strong security background and credentials (and no, Tom Ridge was not qualified either.)

IMHO, the Homeland Security formation was wrong from the beginnning. We have enough law enforcement at the federal level. They just need some laisions put in place to share info, not another bloated federal $ dump.

i dont understand why they cant work together,.... but i don't work for them so i cant say
It's really a shame this happened right now. It seems to have shifted focus away from the health care debates.

Yes, we are sitting ducks. The deadly terrorist attack at Fort Hood was a direct result of political correctness, multiculturalism, and a general unwillingness to take Islamic terrorism seriously. It is very likely we will see more of this. Obama and his friends must know that appeasement equals weakness, submission, and tragedy; why do they seek to appease anyway?
But sadly, anyone promoting effective anti-terrorism policies will be attacked and crippled by the left in this country. They have already made it a crime to set any sort of focus on specific countries, races, religions, ethnicities.
I really got a laugh this afternoon, on fox they interviewed a Democratic strategist (no idea what that job really is) and they explained the breakdown was the fault of the GOP for denying an extra 44 million homeland security needed to do the job right. :rofl What fricken planet does this person live on is all I had to ask. If the billions they spend now won't let them allow one agency to tell the other what is going on when they have a dad calling and coming in to say this is coming. They let a guy fly with a one way ticket paid for in cash with no baggage. Then no amount of money is going to let this agency find it's own butt with both hands.

I think we are in for more soon, as the ineptitude of DHS is insurmountable under current statutes, baring martial law.
Whether we spend another 44 million, billion or trillion, it still would be ineffective, the various agencies that have critical information that prior to DHS was severely compartmentalized remains so, the creation of DHS was to co-mingle the human resources of a variety of cabinet departments, allowing them to operate in a fusion center like Methodology!
After 8+ years of this departments existence, the underlying laws that prevent the FUSION of information are still in place and the power hunger pigs in DC will not relinquish it, some will not out of FEAR of an ORWELLIAN like capacity to oversee & control our domestic society. Unchecked I too would fear such an agency, knowing what I know about my agency, multiplying the knowledge power could be very dangerous to our individual freedoms if appropriate checks & balances are not built in & observed.
Getting all these facts ironed out is a HELL of a lot more important to this countries survival than having health care for everyone...RIGHT NOW.....!
I'd hate to think there is a conspiracy afoot by the current administration to distract attention from the HC reform debates. More than likely it's a lot of foreign interest seeing the weakness portrayed by the President & his cabinet as a prime opportunity to strike now while they are in their learning curve, GOD forbid they never learn how to steer the ship of state.
I have flown 4 times in 12 months from Pensacola to Dallas to Denver and it was very obvious to me the problem. TSA must have a quota for idiots! I was targeted for backroom second degree interviews yet the the guy in front of me from Saudi was not! The 80 year old blue hair behind me got pulled too. So, if we know what ethnic group that practices Jhad and has performed 99.9% of all terror acts for the last half century and freely admits in their religion that they believe in killing to convert...and they think Heaven is a brothel where they get 72 virgins to screw through enternity...why not target the profile that fits the age, religion, and history of terror attacks?

I heard same thing from another Dem talking head, Eleanor "Rodham" Clift. First words out of her mouth were blaming GWB. Must be their talking point on this issue (like all other issues).

If this administration would stop using the blame game for everything that goes wrong and actually do something they would be better off IMHO. Every single speech BO gives starts out reminding us what all he inherited. I don't remember any great leader in history that ever started out everything by laying blame on others.

Every single speech BO gives starts out reminding us what all he inherited.Obama should never attribute his predicament to his predecessor, for several reasons. In doing so, he is:
- degrading his office
- demonstrating a lack of class
- inviting the same from the next opposition president
Real leaders don't make excuses for their performance.
Well, liberals always lie about their predecessors so why change now! Stats don't lie though and if you actually take time to look at unbiased charts of economic history, it is easy to see that when their is less government interference in the marketplace and tax cuts on capitol investment and the individual investor, recessions end with the ebb and flow of the market. Even after 911 and several major natuaral disasters the 2000 recession ended and growth returned. In 1982, after carter's recession, Ronald Reagan set the stage for one of the longest peacetime economic growths in our history! It lasted from 1983 to 1999 and was so strong that Clinton could not kill it and George's Dad with(read my lips tax increses) could not destroy it and 911 only slowed it down. What BHO is doing now is trying to unravel the supply side economic growth and replace it with the same business killing policies that FDR used to move us into the great depression! Big Government and entitlements as far as the eye can see will put us in a decilne like we have not seen in our time! Blaming GWB will not play after all this economic suffering deepens as people will wake up to the reality that instead of focusing on the economy stupid, we built entitlements like free healthcare and tax increases for a Global world-wide hoax! Just as people are now are seeing for themselves the hoax of AGW, they will feel the depth of BHO and his job killing policies!
