Saw these ads (http://rt.com/ads) while surfing the other day... so here are my responses.

(flash version (http://www.flashtalking.net/view/89832/RT_Obama_300x250.swf?clickTag=http%3A//www.flashtalking.net/view/89832/1-89832.html&creativeID=89832&dynCID=5645&agencyUser=McCann%20London))

Question the ad intends to pose: Should fear of an unknown menace detract from the presence of the world´s largest nuclear arsenal?

My response: Mr. Iran is clearly the greater threat. How many nations have recent American presidents promised to eradicate? How much aid has Iran (or Russia for that matter) provided to Haiti since the giant earthquate? The USA seeks to achieve peace through power, adhering to western values and ethics. I do not expect Russians to understand this, as ethics is a term almost wholly unknown to them.

Question the ad intends to pose: Is the ability to influence minds more potent than a deadly force?

My response: They are both powerful weapons. But when an Iranian muslim comes to decapitate my family, I think the gun will serve better in my defense. Hence, I think it's the more deadly weapon. This question may fascinate your populace, but in the west we can clearly see it's not a very intelligent question. Next time you should strive harder to be dishonest with your questioning.

Question the ad intends to pose: Is climate change a real threat or a global conspiracy?

My response: the best of your advertisements. Climates do change, that's a fact. That humanity has caused this is the fiction.

(flash version (http://www.flashtalking.net/view/89836/RT_Soldier_300x250.swf?clickTag=http%3A//www.flashtalking.net/view/89836/1-89836.html&creativeID=89836&dynCID=5645&agencyUser=McCann%20London))

Question the ad intends to pose: If violence against civilians defines terrorism, then how do people in a war zone distinguish friendly forces?

My response: No. First, violence against civilians does not define terrorism. Secondly, terror has been brought about in movie theaters; maybe you should outlaw them in communist Russia.

Question the ad intends to pose: Should a democratically elected government use violence to control a demonstration?

My response: The state can be just as dangerous as a tattoo'ed person. No government should use violence against its own people. Not really sure what your point is with this ad.
