well i hope that today is the day that we elect the best president for the country. and no im not talking mccain or obama im talking the one that will do the best for our country and not sink us into a bigger hole. who will not bring more terroistic attacks on our country. so even though i dislike obama if elected i hope he does a great job but i doubt it but maybe.

Odds are he won't live out his term if elected.
There's a Aryan brother somewhere that has a bead on him you can bet.
Poor comment on society at large but both sides have an equal hand in the prejudice.

Senator Obama was nearly 17 minutes into his July 2 speech (yet another one where naming Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was required) in Colorado Springs, Colorado when he deviated from his pre-released script and performed without the teleprompter net saying,
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
Our military cost $500 Billion a year, just as well funded??? Frightening. This reeks of the KGB or SS.

yes it is i believe the civil force of america was suppose to be the militia to bad the goverment seems to have it out for the people who run these. i was looking into starting a local militia but every one i spoke with about it kept bringing up politics and where the unit would stand, on that note i droped it a militia is here to protect the nation not be in politics.
i try to leave politics completely out of my life unless its on here or with friends that i know can keep it civil and not bring false info into the situation.
so believe it or not i do try to only make true statements but sometimes its hard to do

Can you imaging the CIA with a $500 billion dollar budget? Scares the crap out of me.
Maybe he is really talking about building the Peace Corps, Job Corp, Ameri-corps... but can we afford this kind of funding? His spending proposals will bankrupt the nation in a hurry.

Not if you raise taxes

How do you "raise taxes" AND give 95% a tax break? Answer: You can't. It's bad math.

Obama's 95% Illusion; It Depends on What the Meaning of "Tax Cut" Is:
One of Barack Obama's most potent campaign claims is that he'll cut taxes for no less than 95% of "working families." He's even promising to cut taxes enough that the government's tax share of GDP will be no more than 18.2% -- which is lower than it is today.
It's a clever pitch, because it lets him pose as a middle-class tax cutter while disguising that he's also proposing one of the largest tax increases ever on the other 5%. But how does he conjure this miracle, especially since more than a third of all Americans already pay no income taxes at all? There are several sleights of hand, but the most creative is to redefine the meaning of "tax cut." ...
Mr. Obama is proposing to create or expand no fewer than seven [tax] credits for individuals:
A $500 tax credit ($1,000 a couple) to "make work pay" that phases out at income of $75,000 for individuals and $150,000 per couple.
A $4,000 tax credit for college tuition.
A 10% mortgage interest tax credit (on top of the existing mortgage interest deduction and other housing subsidies).
A "savings" tax credit of 50% up to $1,000.
An expansion of the earned-income tax credit that would allow single workers to receive as much as $555 a year, up from $175 now, and give these workers up to $1,110 if they are paying child support.
A child care credit of 50% up to $6,000 of expenses a year.
A "clean car" tax credit of up to $7,000 on the purchase of certain vehicles.
Here's the political catch. All but the clean car credit would be "refundable," which is Washington-speak for the fact that you can receive these checks even if you have no income-tax liability. In other words, they are an income transfer -- a federal check -- from taxpayers to nontaxpayers. ...
Because Mr. Obama's tax credits are phased out as incomes rise, they impose a huge "marginal" tax rate increase on low-income workers. The marginal tax rate refers to the rate on the next dollar of income earned. As the nearby chart illustrates, the marginal rate for millions of low- and middle-income workers would spike as they earn more income. ...
One mystery -- among many -- of the McCain campaign is why it has allowed Mr. Obama's 95% illusion to go unanswered.
