AIG and Timmy

I got a chance to catch some of the grilling of Timmy on the hill today. I was not aware that Goldmans had members of it's council working at the fed. Timmy admitted to authorizing the 100% payment of all debt owed by AIG at the taxpayer expense and only denied being part of the cover up even though the time line of dates didn't work. In the end I felt like I was watching my daughter tell a story and I could pick out by his actions ever time he was telling a lie. Giethner and several members of the New York fed including one that purchased 37000 shares of goldman while the deal was being done should all do jail time.

We had it on the flat screen in our lobby. I watched as much as I could stomach, which was about 5 minutes. Heard a number of snide remarks from customers regarding him. Out here in flyover country he is about as popular as BHO, if you know what I mean.

Specter is toast in PA. He's not expected to even win the Democrat primary, and if he does, the Republican candidate is polling higher against Specter than the other Dem candidate.
