Special treatment, be it good or bad, based on race...is racism.

What a fraud and phony Matthews is. Anyone notice that during the SOTU, Fox had its news reporters and bi-partisan panel covering it while, MSNBC used its lefty commentators Maddow, Olbermann and Matthews, who were orgasming at BHO's every word. Now who is fair and balanced?
Well, that tingle may unduly influence Chris! He would have sex with BHO if he could!:rofl

The race discussion is so played out I'm really tired of it.
According to the latest social trend, racism is now evil, but really only if you're white. Black racism, asian racism, all other racism is to be ignored.
Furthermore, we seem to have forgotten that we are humans. It is a very human trait to like (prefer, preferential) the company of others who are, in some way, like you. Not just in terms of race, but in any characteristic. But like it or not, race is one aspect of a person; your race combined with all your other characteristics does define you. It also differentiates you. There's nothing wrong with this; it simply is. Don't ignore race; that's ignorance. Some people are black. Some are white. Some are men. Some are women. Do you pretend to not notice, like Chris Matthews? Well then you're full of it. And listen, maybe people with my same skin color are also more often going to share other commonalities with me. They could, more often, have the same hair color, or eye color, number of freckles. Look, race is just one characteristic; there are many others which can bond people. But race does bond people also. And there is nothing wrong with that. IF you think there's something wrong with it, you go tell all the people in Chinatown that they can't live near each other. We focus way too much on this issue because of ridiculous, collective societal guilt, which I think is causing us to destroy ourselves. I'm really fed up with it - my patience has reached its limit. To all racemongers I will say: further attempts to goad me with race will not produce the desired result of beating me into submission. In fact, you will not be happy with the result; I'll make sure of that. So quit it. You pretend race doesn't exist? Well I'm a realist. It does exist; noticing this does not make one evil. I've had enough. Thanks and have a nice day; try to dig up some common sense.

Absolutely Nelson. You're right on.
The reality is that everyone, distinguishes race. Unless you are deaf, dumb, and blind, you are aware everyone is different, be it color, ethnicity, language, etc. To not know that difference would make you inhuman. In that sence every human on the planet is a racist. Period. If you are able to discern someone else's race, you are a racist.
I guess my point is that the word racist shouldn't necessarily have the deragatory connotation of racial intolerance that it does.
That being said, and under the above assumption, being a racist doesn't make one evil, or one who hates others. Those traits should fall elsewhere, and not described stereotypically as racists.

Condemning racism, while at the same time as advocating multiple programs that only benefit certain races...is hypocricy at it's finest...
In the US, you're allowed to be proud of your heritage, unless you're white.
