This morning I hear Obama Bin Laden released a statement saying global warming is the US's fault and not to buy their goods. Funny how a scam just to make money arms everyone around the world that hates you. Makes it even more difficult to explain to the world the entire thing is just a scam, but now they have pressed this so long they couldn't convince people standing on a glacier on the equator it was a scam right now.

I'm kind of glad OBL endorsed global warming. Now there is an endorsement which brings lots of credibility to the cause. Of course he is a model for low carbon lifestyle by living in caves and eliminating overpopulation with suicide bombers. Would make algore proud.

Just read about this...so now AlGore and UBL can be rolled up collectively together. There just something funny about that.

In the tape, broadcast in part on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden warned of the dangers of climate change and says that the way to stop it is to bring "the wheels of the American economy" to a halt.

He blamed Western industrialized nations for hunger, desertification and floods across the globe, and called for "drastic solutions" to global warming, and "not solutions that partially reduce the effect of climate change."

I think Bin Laden's statement will further expose the global warming financial hoax to many Americans, maybe even open the eyes of some devout kool-aid believers.

But his statement is clearly targeted at the rest of the world with the hope of building pressure against us. Many people in less prosperous nations have long watched America with great resentment. All of their governments need money (and need global warming to produce it). With our own complicity, for those countries this issue has become a rally cry - and a means of waging global class warfare against the rich west.

Jeb I agree the story is just too ironic - Democrats and Bin Laden prefer a progressive, liberal, guilty America. Wow! :rofl

We should make a bumper sticker:

"Bin Laden warns of Global Warming!"

That is a lot of snow! You just know the Global Warming kooks will spin this snow as proof of global warming. If it was 70 degrees instead, they would say that was because of global warming. Earthquakes are due to global warming. Is there anyone in their camp with a lick of common sense?

Anyone catch this story about the so-called scientist leading the global warming charge, Phil Jones:

* Data for vital 'hockey stick graph' has gone missing
* There has been no global warming since 1995
* Warming periods have happened before - but NOT due to man-made changes

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

The admissions will be seized on by sceptics as fresh evidence that there are serious flaws at the heart of the science of climate change and the orthodoxy that recent rises in temperature are largely man-made.

ok Taxman now I'm jealous!

This Global Warming movement is really falling apart! But it's amazing how the GW congregation clings so tightly to it's beliefs even in the face of all this. Nobody wants to admit they've been proven an idiot. Mainstream media isn't uttering a word about any of it! They've got to be deathly afraid. It's clear evidence of their stupidity and collusion so of course they will deny, deny - this is perfect! They are sealing their own fate.

Let us not forget this global warming scheme has nothing to do with saving the planet, but it's yet another attempt by elitists in power to perpetrate another large scale robbery of money from citizens around the world. If allowed to go forward, it may indeed be the largest transfer of wealth (theft) in history, taking trillions of dollars from average people all to fill the coffers of corporations, unions, industry, and yes, even community organizations like Acorn, to name a few.

...and more good news. BHO is at least giving lip service to supporting nukes. This will undoubtedly inflame the left side of his party, which is always fun to watch. Not sure, though, if part of his strategy is to throw a favor to his union butt-buddies:

Obama spoke after spending time at the job training center at the headquarters of Local 26 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The union represents electrical and telecommunications workers, and it offers training for energy jobs, including the construction of nuclear power plants.

Thanks for rubbing it in:D Only got into the upper 40's here and there is a ton of salt on the road. Also, we have drifts that probably won't melt until summer. My assigned parking space at work has a 4 foot snow pile in it so I've been parking in the never-used handicapped spot (seems fitting doesn't it).:)

We have had so much rain, most of the actual salt has washed away, leaving only the sand, which can be scary in a turn or sweeper, but we have been scouting the roads during the day at safe pace to ensure they are safe for hammering

Sand can be a bummer as I found out with my old bike. Nothing scarier than the front wheel scooting out from under you. Good idea to pre-run some roots and check out conditions. Maybe we'll get some rain soon and clean things up.

The skepticism over global warming has taken over. Even the NYT has published a new column by Elisabeth Rosenthal discussing the change in Britain's attitude toward this scam.

But read the column and you will find an excellent example of how the media can twist any view into its own propaganda. Rosenthal's column does not weigh the skepticism, she does not really assess it, she really doesn't even consider it significant... except insomuch as how this widespread skepticism threatens what the left considers to be a given: that we must pass climate change legislation / taxation / redistribution whether the public supports this or not.

The meat of her column is a defense of climate change data manipulation, a pushback against climate change skeptics, and a gasping attempt to legitimize this scam.

The press has grown so clever. They illustrate typical citizens being pulled back and forth between sides of a debate - using association to lure the reader's trust - meanwhile injecting their foul predisposition. This method has worked for decades. But now people are waking up to it.

Climate Fears Turn to Doubts Among Britons
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/25/science/earth/25climate.html

The public is left to struggle with the salvos between the two sides. “I’m still concerned about climate change, but it’s become very confusing,” said Sandra Lawson, 32, as she ran errands near Hyde Park.

In a telephone interview, Nicholas Stern, a former chief economist at the World Bank and a climate change expert, said that the shift in opinion “hadn’t helped” efforts to come up with strong policy in a number of countries. But he predicted that it would be overcome, not least because the science was so clear on the warming trend.

“I don’t think it will be problematic in the long run,” he said, adding that in Britain, at least, politicians “are ahead of the public anyway.” Indeed, once Mr. Cameron became prime minister, he vowed to run “the greenest government in our history” and proposed projects like a more efficient national electricity grid.

Scientists have meanwhile awakened to the public’s misgivings and are increasingly fighting back. An editorial in the prestigious journal Nature said climate deniers were using “every means at their disposal to undermine science and scientists” and urged scientists to counterattack. Scientists in France, the Netherlands and the United States have signed open letters affirming their trust in climate change evidence, including one published on May 7 in the journal Science.

In March, Simon L. Lewis, an expert on rain forests at the University of Leeds in Britain, filed a 30-page complaint with the nation’s Press Complaints Commission against The Times of London, accusing it of publishing “inaccurate, misleading or distorted information” about climate change, his own research and remarks he had made to a reporter.

“I was most annoyed that there seemed to be a pattern of pushing the idea that there were a number of serious mistakes in the I.P.C.C. report, when most were fairly innocuous, or not mistakes at all,” said Dr. Lewis, referring to the report by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Meanwhile, groups like the wildlife organization WWF have posted articles like “How to Talk to a Climate Skeptic,” providing stock answers to doubting friends and relatives, on their Web sites.

It is unclear whether such actions are enough to win back a segment of the public that has eagerly consumed a series of revelations that were published prominently in right-leaning newspapers like The Times of London and The Telegraph and then repeated around the world.

Wow, typical Lib spin. Can spot it a mile away.

Today heard the author of a new Rush LImbaugh biography (Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One,” by Zev Chafets) interviewed on NPR. The author was given access by Rush and was very Rush-supportive. NPR did everything but call Rush a White Man trying to make the interview into hatchet job. The author was very articulate and was able to deflect the twisted questions. More bias from tax dollar-supported radio.

Big whoop with NPR! We wish the "Contract with America" which brought Clinton to his knees when it forced his hand with over-riding his veto on welfare reform, capitol gains tax cuts and even government accountability act which tried to make congress live under the laws they pass! Of course, the dems reversed that progress as soon as they got back in power. But the NPR and NEA were areas that the contract tried to do away with.
