Guns make a lot of noise. Guns kill. Guns are for people that have trouble communicating with others. Guns can end friendships. Guns are for crazy tea-baggers. Guns are unsafe when used by the police. Especially when they are rounding up tea-baggers.
Guns may have some useful purposes; I don't know of any though. Guns have their own personalities, sometimes much more than the people carrying them. When people get gunned down, they usually die. People who have guns add greatly to the homicide statistics. Sometimes they ARE:gun: the homicide statistic.
Guns do nothing for the traditional holding-out-of-the-hand in greeting to others. Guns are destructive and should be banned, and Reagan can go to hell...oh wait; he's already there. :gun:

IF, thanks for recap of liberal thought process and naitvity regarding guns. Thanks for sharing as it was most instructive and persuasive. Grin
Back to topic of thread regading revolver-forums.com. Some real gun experts including RJ. Btw he is a medical doctor well-respected in his profession and a master gunsmith, vrod wrench and vrod editor for a national motorcycle magazine. Wish he would post up over here but he is too busy with his many hobbies to debate with liberals. Maybe we can learn something from RJ. <wink

"If guns kill people, all of mine are defective."
RJ took what he learned from disassembling his V-Rod (and putting it back together again) and has the same instincts for the AR platform. He has build a 9mm blow-back AR (which is actually called a pistol caliber carbine) and did very well with it in this past weekend's 3-gun match. One stage required hitting ten 8" steel plates from 100 yards.
He has the unique ability to find the experts and pick their brain to get needed information. With that in hand, he also has the ability to apply it and obtain positive results. IMHO, that's the tough part.
Anybody can wrench on a gun and screw it up. I've done that more times than I want to remember but RJ is fearless. He'll try everything to get a weapon up and running.
His next platform is the Saiga-12 (http://www.forum.saiga-12.com/) which is a magazine fed 12 gage shotgun built in Russia and based on the AK action. We use these in 3-gun competition and have nicknamed them "vodka specials". The tolerences are laughable but with enough replacements parts and gunsmith work, they actually become a competitive target shotgun.

What makes you think I was serious? Do you have any sense of humor at all?
What is a troll, and do they write like you?
What is a banana-chip? Is it a healthy food? Are you overweight?
Your 'under the bridge thingy' will be hard to do, as most of this forum is already under there, including you, and I don't like being that close to any of you TYVM.....
