25 million + out of work, and the Marxist keeps focusing on his plan to fundamentally transform America into shit. It seems his corporate and union supporters won't let him back off, and he's still going for it, no matter what the people say, or show through elections. The people have been sending clear messages though speech and through votes over the last year knocking off sure thing dems. Obama, Pelosi and Reid's response to the American people: F*ck Off!

The Obama and his cronies conversations we don't hear say: "Bring in the republicans now, and buy there asses off as we did with the Dems in Louisianan, Nebraska and the others".

The 2.5 trillion dollar question is will the Republicans fold?

The amount of money Obama & Company wants to redistribute is ludicrous. Hundreds of billions stand to be stolen from the people, which is why you won't see a mainstream health reform plan develop, even with bi-partisanship. What we might end up with after some republicans are bribed, is the same basic government takeover plan, with smaller provisions included to satisfy the special interests of the republicans.

Obama's legacy very well may convey he was the most stupid and ignorant president in the history of the United States. Continually ignoring, and attacking the people is only a fraction of the incompetence Obama has demonstrated in a year.

I also believe we're only seeing a fraction of his deviousness.

Exactly. He has no interest in bipartisanship. Never has had. I don't know of one substantive initiative where he has attempted it. He is just out of options on healthcare and wants to pull in the Republicans so he can blame the failure to pass what he wants on them. Or as you say to hoodwink them into passing something which can be corrupted into his takeover plan.

This guest blog post from the Heritage Foundation pretty much sums it up nicely. Think it's just a media stunt to make himself look better in the public eye; problem for him though, public sees right through it...least that part of the public that hasn't drank the kool-aid.

"Democrats have no intention of including conservative ideas this late in the game. The Washington Post reports that White House officials “said the president will come to the health-care summit armed with a merged version of the two bills that Democrats strong-armed through the two chambers with almost no GOP backing.” And The Post adds that Congressional Democrats show no signs of intending to listen to new ideas either: “In separate statements Sunday, Democratic leaders praised the president for calling the bipartisan summit but made clear they are not prepared to give up on the progress they made last year.”"

I think this morning I heard the GOP has sent a list of request for discussions before they agree. I would hope that one of the request is they start from scratch and pitch the massive mess the Dems assembled in private. This is just a media stunt by Oblamea IMHO. For a guy that says he doesn't like the games and wants change he seems to be the one playing the games.

I keep hearing Reid is promoting reconciliation (the 51 vote nuclear option) behind the scenes.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a planned obama scheme to enable him to falsely show "the republicans are obstructionists" therefore opening the door to the nuclear option. With the disdain obama, Reid and Pelosi and their reps have shown towards the American people, if they were to cut their throats that way, would anyone be surprised?

Boehner and Cantor crafted a great letter to the Dems on healthcare. Really stuck it to them.

Synseer, you know what I discovered while looking at this comic? I can barely stomach the sight of him even as a cartoon character.
