What a great idea! Political , um, Banter (?) can frequently clog other forums where it is not the reason people become members, so having a safe place to go and engage in robust, but respectful and reasoned, discussion and debate is a great pfuffle valve (the thing my Oma would always threaten to blow when my Opa and I would destroy her lounge and dining rooms in a wrestling match when I was a kid) for one of the worlds great conversational mosh pits.

I am an Australian, and I will come clean now and admit to also being a lawyer - a combination that can get me into a fight in most bars in the world ;) As an antipodean, and a member of such an exalted and revered profession, I am acutely aware of the English political and legal system, seeing as we inherited it and all. I am also a keen observer of the political system in the USA, especially since I made more money betting on your last election than on the Melbourne Cup, both races having been run on the same day :D They had a lot in common actually - no-one in Australia had a clue who would win, foreigners had as much interest in the result as the locals, the contenders were all handicapped, and the jockey claiming victory didn't do most of the work to win the race

So all that means I have enough knowledge to be dangerous to myself and people standing too close to me. I'm like that kid we all knew who was always running with scissors. Pleased to meet'cha!

I thought anonimity was mysterious?
