This time obama was addressing students in Michigan. Obama said you should disagree with your opponents without demonizing them or attacking them.
I laughed out loud when I heard him. obama actually believes the majority of Americans are morons, who don't see through his deceptions. Who hasn't obama demonized and attacked who have disgreed with his own socialist agenda? Obama and his cronies have attacked millions of American Tea partiers, health insurance companies, the chamber of commerce, the republican party, and in his first year has gone as low as playing the race card by accusing a white cop of acting stupidly in the arrest of a race bating black teacher. Seriously, one has to look hard to find who obama hasn't attacked. A 20 year student and supporter of black liberation theology, obama certainly knows how to attack, demonize, and deceive to acheive whatever warped policies he is promoting at any given time.

Exactly right. I cannot remember another President ever calling out his enemies by name like what this guy is doing. And some of them are not elected officials (Beck, Rush, Hannity, Fox, etc.) Chicago politics

Here's an article on point with your comments, CB.

Dan Henninger writes in the WSJ:

Here's a quiz: For which of the following reasons is the 44th president of the United States bad-mouthing Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, bankers, mine operators, insurers, Glenn Beck, the tea party, the Supreme Court and whoever he hammers as we go to press:

a) He's rallying his base.

b) He's rallying the Democrats' base (one overlaps but does not equal the other).

c) He's changing the subject from 9% unemployment.

d) To reverse his sinking approval ratings.

e) It's what Saul Alinsky would do.

f) It's what Barack Obama likes to do.

Astute readers instantly saw that the answer is, all of the above. (Incidentally, the left's notion that Mr. Obama had to prove he could "stand up" to the Republicans must be laughable to the man who stood down the Clinton machine to win.)

I completely forgot the press. You're right on Rem.

What an incrdible embarassment to America in less than 16 months this idiot has become.

I feel like I've been puking constantly since his inauguration.

Definitely not afraid to point the finger at Americans...but he'll bow down to any and everyone else.

I know a manager like him, big brass cajones when it comes to dealing with people that work for him...

He'll put them away when speaking to people of equal or higher position, since they're in the way of his tail going between his legs.

Puts them back on, and takes it out on his subordinates after bowing to his "peers" and higher ups.

There are lots of managers like that - They are called a$$ kissing a$$ holes!

REAL managers defend their subordinates against unfair treatment by their peers and higher ups. The main responsibility of any manager is to support those in their organization.

I've never been in managment, allways on the other side. But i do know if you have a boss that sticks up for ya, most guys will stick with him through thick an thin. You respect a feller like that. he throws ya under the bus, an you'll never fergit it.

Had a couple bosses that would go to bat for their people, one of them was younger than me. I have alot of respect for bosses like that, but they fight an uphill battle, one got laid off, the first chance they got, and the other got run off.

It's hard to find a manager like that.

I reckon that's why there's so many spineless, "yes men", bully tactic types of managers around.

How true it is! Been in management over 30 years. Done my best to support those who have worked with me. No matter how you slice it, they have done MUCH more for me. Every time I've succeeded at anything work related, it has been due to good, hardworking folks finding a way to do the right thing. They always know how and what to do. Just give them the resources and the clout and get the hell outta the way!

I'll always support a manager that has my back. I always tell them "You got my back, and I won't go behind yours."

Great comments on managing and being managed!

My personal philosophy is an attitude that my job is to make my boss look good. It also is to remove roadblocks from my employees so they can be most effective in their jobs. Has worked well for me over a 35 year career.
