Sometime last night I got a phone call that someone had broken into my car. So, there I am with the police in the middle of the night...with my faithful watchdog, that didn't make a sound and I'm looking at the damage. How freaking stupid are criminals? They risked getting shot, arrested, beat down, etc...tore up my dash, broke a window all for my wal-mart special cd player. Now this is the part that irrationally pisses me off...why didn't they take more? Are they that stupid that they jacked my cheap cd player and left my ipod that was on the floor...and left my rather expensive amp that is hidden(not all that well) under the seat...and didn't bother to case the scene beforehand for one of those times when I was negligent and left several thousand dollars of kiteboarding gear, army gear, or what-have-you in the vehicle overnight? Or how about the fact that they broke into possibly the cheapest car on the block?

So it sucks that I got robbed...yet again...but this rant is basically directed towards the basic incompetence and ignorance of the human species. I'm thinking about these jerks and I can't help but make that minor intellectual leap of drawing comparisons between these punks and our politicians. I mean how stupid do you have to be? Major risks for no real reward...oblivious ignorance toward potential consequences...I mean if I was in politics I would do the right thing, but just like these car-thieving imbeciles if I put my mind to really screwing the world over for personal profit...I would do a much better(more thorough) job of it, and it just pisses me off how stupid people are.

I'll bet the perp was a BHO supporter. Disregard for consequence, taking what isn't yours, stupidity -- pretty well fits the Lib playbook.

A cheap car is less likely to have an alarm, CD Player is quick, easy, and a known. They can grab it, and be gone before anyone can really come investigate the broken glass sound. If they spend time looking around for more stuff, they're more likely to get caught.

Odds are, it was a High School kid, looking for some quick cash, and probably someone from your neighborhood, since your dog didn't seem to care.

That really sucks!

Happened to me too years ago. They got my radar detector. The thing is, I didn't know it was stolen until I got pulled over on the way to work that same morning, and got a ticket.

You are aware I hope that 9 out of 10 criminals are liberals.

Man, that sucks. It's really deflating to think people stoop to this level. If it's a high school kid that's one thing (if there's any time it's semi-understandable to be an irresponsible idiot, it's high school). But even if so, why stupid punks would risk so much when they could just make legitimate money... is beyond me. Culture of entitlement? Sorry to hear it bro...

I can, but you feel violated big time when it happens.

I think Max is right too. 9 out of 10 criminals are liberals. The 10th is a rhino.
