The press has given him a free ride in spewing his thoughts on how the rest of us need to make sacrifices while he exempts himself. This is perfect. My friend was just telling me again about global warming. He is so stuck on how everything is cuz of global warming. We saw some little birds outside, he said it was due to global warming. If it is too cold it is cuz of GW if it is too hot it is cuz of GW ahhhhhh.

Global warming is the real deal, but I believe the argument is over whether or not it is man made. The globe is indeed warming, but it is a theory that it is entirely due to man's burning of fossil fuels. Granted it doesn't help the matter, but nevertheless, man wasn't burning fossil fuels before the last ice age.

Last winter WIPED OUT the last 20 years of "warming" data.

They are basing the warming on 30 years of "accurate" data on a million+ years old planet. Do you realize the absurdity of that kind of data analysis? It's like predicting your chances of cancer by the way you skinned your knee at age 3.

The explosion of Mt. St. Helens released more pollutants in one day than "man" did in a century. We are but a puny cog in an enormous machine. Me thinks; you think to highly of ourselves. We do not have that kind of impact.

Do a search on ice coring and yes they can tell the warming and cooling trends over the last 100.000 years. Are we causing thisto happen all by our selves, I don't think so, but we are going through a warming period. It just not warming but changes in the normal weather patterns that we are seeing today. Snowing on Lux is a recent one that comes to mind. You check with the guys up north and see if they have the snow fall and normal length of winter over the last 30 years. The answer is NO. I used to live in upstate NY and they don't have the winters like we used to. You can look at the Bush administration and how they hide the fact from NASA scientist until that last couple of years. The naysayers can say what they want but its happening.

Just had an archeologist from U of Cincinnati speak at a company sponsored breakfast meeting. He's been featured on Discovery, National Geographic and History Channel so no lightweight in his field. He's found evidence that an astroid hit earth and radiation from it ended the ice age and permanently changed our weather. No amount of carbon credit trading or anything else man can do will be able to offset forces of nature. We could rev up every jet engine on earth and cannot change the earths rotation speed. Face it, we are not God, we are not in control; just specks on this planet.

Yeah, I really trust this group....no agenda here is there? No need for government funding is there? No need to validate there existence? They produced a fanatic like Hansen so why should we be surprised?
