Yes, you did not read the title wrong. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has a high profile lawsuit going against Boing for attempting to relocate their production of the new 787 airplane to of all places:
SOUTH CAROLINA
Two of the NLRB directors have been appointed by Obama and are doing his bidding to keep the unions happy. Facing another election, he needs at least the same amount of money (or more) donated from the unions that he received in his last campaign. South Carolina is a right to work state and the Machinists union in Washington state is pissed that they are going to lose out to the "scabs"....
Meanwhile, the House of Representitives is voting on a bill that would reduce the power of the NLRB, but not eliminate it entirely. The bill would prohibit the NLRB from restricting any company to close plants or relocate workers.
My prediction:
Harry "Dead on Arrival" Reid will put this legislation in the "circular file" by sending it to committee without discussion, thereby dooming it to extinction.
Where was the NLRB when General Electric moved thousands of jobs out of the United States to CHINA? Didn't hear a peep out of them for that, did we?
