In what can only be called ridiculous, some folks apparently threw a hissy fit when Hank Williams Jr. made a Hitler analogy on Fox News.

During a Fox News session, Hank was surprised Obama and Boehner were playing golf together. He said that'd "be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu."

I guess ESPN had a OMG what-will-the-sponsors-say anxiety moment, and they yanked Hank's NFL version of "All My Rowdy Friends" from the Monday night broadcast.

It doesn't get much stupider that this chain of events.

I don't blame ESPN for this stupidity. Half of our new society is severely emotionally stunted and can't handle a man making a simple analogy - not when it involves the chosen one Barack Hussein Obama.

Hank Williams Jr. and his iconic theme song will not return to ESPN's "Monday Night Football," the network announced Thursday.

In the wake of Williams using an analogy involving Adolf Hitler and President Barack Obama to make a political point on the Fox News Channel, Williams' "All My Rowdy Friends" will no longer be part of the MNF opening.

I wonder how many times GWB was compared to Hitler? Oh, wait, Google has 2.1 Million hits and here is a partial compilation:

Where was the outrage?

That is great! Hope it gets some airplay and goes top of the charts on stations which have the guts to play it. LIke Bocephus attitude.

Lynrd Skynrd has an album "God and Guns" with a similar-themed song called "This Ain't my America". It mentions, "You keep the change". Also, Montgomery Gentry and Charlie Daniels have a number of songs with this sort of message. Have to love musicians who take a stand.

(And Cajun, I'll bet old George Jones would sing something similar if he was still recording. :) )
