Seems that the Obama camp is liking the "message" from Chrysler and Clint Eastwood. LINK HERE. (http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jHcBnHlX7MTV2GWfJk0lfqeuo2dQ?docId=CNG.956cc 047c755305c8ad4580183554bcc.691)

Yeah but I read somewhere yesterday that Clint liked Ron Paul.
And from an article on news today

"Eastwood, a fiscal conservative who is more liberal on social issues including gay marriage and environmental protections, has mixed with politics before. The former nonpartisan mayor of Carmel, Calif., who supported GOP presidential contender John McCain in 2008, told the Los Angeles Times last November that he can't ever recall voting for a Democrat for president but expressed admiration for California's Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown.

On Monday, he told Fox News he is "certainly not politically affiliated with Mr. Obama."
"It was meant to be a message about just about job growth and the spirit of America," Eastwood said of the Chrysler ad. "I think all politicians will agree with it. I thought the spirit was OK."

Eastwood's longtime manager Leonard Hirshan told the AP that any stance Eastwood took on the auto bailout "has nothing to do with the commercial." He said the actor donated his fee from the commercial to a charity in Monterey, Calif., near where he lives."

Check this quote from the AFP article (http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jHcBnHlX7MTV2GWfJk0lfqeuo2dQ?docId=CNG.956cc 047c755305c8ad4580183554bcc.691):

George Condon of National Journal said on the political magazine's website (www.nationaljournal.com) that it "gave a pretty good preview of what the president's re-election commercials might look like."

In fact, this is one of Obama's campaign commercials; Obama sponsored the airtime (using our money). Remember, Chrysler is now owned by the UAW and Fiat, with the Italian automaker claiming majority control. This came after the bankruptcy and a massive bailout threw a losses on US taxpayers. And now marketing says it's halftime. They want consumers to come back roaring. Have to admit the commercial spins a cool message. Personally I'm not buying anything they're selling.

It's hard to find fault with Clint Eastwood. Having watched him for decades, we know he can be provocative. We also know he's no typical Hollywood commie and he is not afraid to show that.

He is known to have mentioned Ron Paul in a couple Youtube videos, stopping short of an endorsement.
