The Venezuelan president basically says that, if his referendum to abolish term limits fails, he will propose it again and again, until it passes.

Chavez tells the CNN news network that if Venezuelans reject a proposal to lift term limits in a Feb. 15 referendum, his supporters could try again in the future.

Chavez says "there's no limit in the constitution regarding the number of times that an amendment can be attempted."

Opposition leaders disagree with the comments Chavez made Monday.

One thing we in the US can do to harm this scumbag is to boycott Citgo Oil Co. gas stations. Citgo is wholly owned by the country of Venezuela (of which Chavez is tyrant dictator, or whatever he calls himself). Here is link from the Citgo website confirming this:

http://www.citgo.com/AboutCITGO/CompanyHistory.jsp

A year or so ago I checked this history link and it mentioned Chavez being head of Citgo, but that history has since been rewritten for obvious reasons. Here in Mayberry we put the poor Citgo operator out of business. We now have a Marathon Oil Co. station. Marathon is an American-based company with its massive headquarters operation based in Findlay, OH.

That is a really good point Remphoto.

I remember 7-11, the convenience chain that is huge in some parts of the country, used to carry Citgo as their gasoline supplier. Their 20 year contract with Citgo was not renewed for whatever reason (some say they were planning to launch their own gasoline brand anyway), and I sure was glad to see those Citgo signs go away.
