AREN'T THESE TO CONTERACTIVE? I UNDERSTAND THEY SAID THAT THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE COULDN'T BE ACTIVATED ANYMORE BUT ISN'T IT ALSO SAYING WE WANT SOMETHING SIMILAR

REALLY LOOK THOUGH THIS PAGE AFTER HR1 AND SEE WHAT THEY ARE SHOOTING DOWN AND WHT THEY ARE PUTTING THROUGH IT IS PRETTY PATHETIC

It looks like you're right according to summary, but I can't tell for sure because I can't access the full text of the amendment for some reason.

And Then In The Second Link They Voted Down An Amendment That Would Give No Federal Money To Reimplementing The Fairness Doctrine So They Are Saying You Can't Do This But We Will Fund You If You Wanna Do It?

To me it seems more like they're saying you can do this but we won't fund you. I'll look again.
