Associated Press 6/26/06: University of Colorado Interim Chancellor to Recommend Firing of Ward Churchill (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,201046,00.html)

Kudos to the university's research committee for following through with the investigation, finding what they deem to be academic misconduct (much of which has been widely publicized), and now to the interim chancellor DiStefano for taking a stand.

I remember when the story first came out about a year ago and the arrogance of Ward Churchill made me sick. Glad to hear he is finally get his just rewards from the University of Colorado, but the sad part is that some other college will probably offer this fanatic a contract.

Me too, The_Man. And I think you're right, there are enough wacky universities that, unless they publicize the full extent of his "academic misconduct" ... someone will probably hire him.

Today the deed was done!
