Absolutely. Now that the government and UAW own and control GM, I will never personally own one of their vehicles. That said, I never have owned one, being more of a MoPar and Ford fan the few times I bought domestically.:) For the record, my last five personally owned cars have been BMW-built (currently own a BMW X3 SUV and MINI Cooper).

Until the local plant closed (http://www.wvec.com/news/local/stories/wvec_local_062707_ford_closes_Thurs.1d078f56.html) , the trucks were made right here. That's why I went Ford from early on (first couple of cars were Mustangs).
